I wanted a overview of the trends in menswear fashion and street wear graphic prints on tees. I found a lot of useful information on http://www.stylesight.com, This is the collegiate style on tees, I really like this style as stated previously because of the vintage feel and the femininity in a masculine genre. I used this style for my designs I had created first I looked at this style for my logo but I decided to use it on my t-shirt designs instead.

My Design Idea
When creating this design for the cheeky wink face, my idea was to use the collegiate style for my font. I wanted the writing I had drawn but I knew that it would take a long time to edit it to get it to look the way I wanted and I did try but I decided to use a font on photoshop that had the collegiate style.
Final Design
Also I wanted to create a pop art look and decided to look at the pop-art “lady” winking for inspiration.
the clipped and cropped style
Single letters that mask graphic’s, trapping the graphic’s revealing concealed imagery.
I have spoke about this tee style before with stussy’s tees and Eve’s video Gangster lovin’, I really like this style and I have used this within my designs.
the next level logo design
This style was the first out of my designs I had experimented with and I originally did this for my logo but I decided to make my logo more simple and use this as a t-shirt design because I really liked it.
collage
I really liked this idea and I used this as a idea but I didn’t create a design based on this. I used threshold on most of what I wanted to collage so it doesn’t similar.
enhanced colour
I also saw this theme of bright colours, I knew I wanted bright colours on my designs because of Hip Hop culture and the image of my brand.
